It depicts the Biblical story of Noah who was found by his son Ham drunk &amp; naked in his tent after a recent wine harvest (<strong>Genesis 9:20-25<\/strong>). Ham told his brothers what he had seen, &amp; they immediately went in to cover their father&#8230; without looking, of course. When Noah awoke, he cursed all of Ham&#8217;s descendants&#8212;the future nation of Canaan:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Ignacio de las Carreras, Recoleta Cemetery\" src=\"http:\/\/www.recoletacemetery.com\/images\/200801E34.jpg\" alt=\"Ignacio de las Carreras, Recoleta Cemetery\" width=\"338\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What does the conflict between Noah &amp; Ham teach? The simple answer is that no one knows, although some of the best possible explanations can be found on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.straightdope.com\/columns\/read\/1875\/whats-up-with-the-biblical-story-of-drunken-noah-part-1\">The Straight Dope<\/a>.
