After retiring from <strong>Greco-Roman wrestling<\/strong>, he switched to acting&#8230; playing a wrestler down on his luck in the 1957 film &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-ahnD4Y9bes\">Reencuentro con la gloria<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These two worlds would come together when Karadagi\u00e1n began the tv show <strong><em>Titanes en el Ring<\/em><\/strong> in 1962. Similar to what Americans recognize as the World Wrestling Federation, Karadagi\u00e1n occasionally fought but often kept to the role of announcer. The show remained on the air until 1988, &amp; Karadagi\u00e1n passed away a few years later in 1991.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/recoletacemetery.com\/images\/201211B08.jpg\" alt=\"Recoleta Cemetery, Buenos Aires, Mart\u00edn Karadagi\u00e1n\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although there is little to identify his tomb, two bronze plaques express sorrow at Karadagi\u00e1n&#8217;s departure. These type of plaques are more often found in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recoletacemetery.com\/?p=3186\">Chacarita Cemetery<\/a>, so they are even more endearing here.
