Varied organizations, such as the large CGT workers&#8217; union &amp; residents of her home town, make expected appearances. However, the most surprising of the bunch would be the <em>Sindicato de Peones de Taxis<\/em>&#8230; the taxi drivers&#8217; union. Eva&#8217;s brother, <strong>Juan Duarte<\/strong>, supposedly committed suicide, but several historians have proposed that he fell out of favor with Per\u00f3n after Eva died&#8230; perhaps with Per\u00f3n even ordering Juan&#8217;s murder. We will likely never know the truth:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/recoletacemetery.com\/images\/juanduarte.jpg\" alt=\"Recoleta Cemetery, Buenos Aires, Juan Duarte plaques\" width=\"450\" height=\"555\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, three plaques are for <strong>Major Alfredo Arrieta<\/strong>, husband of Eva&#8217;s sister, Elisa.
