Olds, historic photo\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Harry Grant Olds<\/strong>\u00a0(1869-1943) was one of the most successful early photographers of Buenos Aires, coming to Argentina in 1900 after a brief stint in Valparaiso, Chile. This photo was taken in 1900 in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recoletacemetery.com\/?p=197\">northwest corner<\/a> of Recoleta Cemetery. Of note are the large mausoleum for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recoletacemetery.com\/?p=1720\">Familia del Carril<\/a>, the monument to federal judge <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recoletacemetery.com\/?p=3920\">Virgilio M. Ted\u00edn<\/a> &amp;&#8212;although blending into the trees a bit&#8212;the memorial to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.recoletacemetery.com\/?p=1231\">Luis Viale<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"alert\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Source: postcard sale on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mercadolibre.com.ar\">Mercado Libre<\/a>&#8230; a great online source for finding old photographs.
