The original photo sits in the <em>Archivo General de la Naci\u00f3n<\/em>, but this version was found on Wikipedia. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recoletacemetery.com\/?p=190\">entrance gate<\/a> is almost the same today with two interesting changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Street lamps have been removed.<\/li>\n<li>Symbols along the frieze originally had each background panel painted in some unknown, darker color.
